I have seen the Hey Song on flights, but I can't remember if it was in the lounge at all. The apple soda was definitely available in the lounge though.

Nice report. Glad EVA always treats you well.

I can't remember what the EVA lounge in TPE serves for soft drinks.....do they have any "local" sodas?? If so, maybe try [Hey Song Sarsaparilla] in a brown can, and [Apple-Sidra] (apple soda) in a bright yellow can. They are some of my fave sodas (non-diet though). They can now be found in some Asian markets (at least in 99 Ranch Markets in SoCal).

Most Asian lounges have a good number of showers; for example Cathay Pacific has about 20 spread over two lounges in Hong Kong.

Nice report. Glad EVA is taking good care of you.

How does the number of showers in the EVA lounge at TPE compare to showers in other airport lounges you've been to elsewhere??

Too bad you are a transit passenger, otherwise you could go out to the upstairs food court area in the terminal. The last time I was there (6yrs ago), they had a Burger King franchise....and a few noodle stands. Actually, the EVA TPE lounge has some decent food...well, at least they used to.

I luv EVAs SIMPLE morning breakfast Chinese-style selection. It's like the absolute CHEAPEST thing you could get next to 2 slices of toast, BUT it always hits the spot for me. They are always surprised when I ask for it and the extra pickles and other sides. Yeah....I know I'm NOT squeezing all of the value out of my ticket price and should go for the big-ticket foods, but the key is to enjoy whatever one likes. :-D

Awwww....all of your food talk is now making me hungry. Midnight snack time. :-q''
